THE TIME CAPSULE — REFUND POLICY

Event Tickets

All event tickets are non-refundable. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged for a different event or date.

If you are unable to attend, your ticket is fully transferable — simply pass it on to someone else and let us know the new guest's name before the event so we can update our door list. Contact us at [info@thetimecapsule.co.za] with the original booking name and the replacement guest's name.

In the unlikely event that The Time Capsule cancels or postpones an event, all ticket holders will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their ticket to the rescheduled date.

DVD Shop — Online Orders

We take great care in packing and describing every item in our shop. All DVDs are pre-loved and are described accurately at the time of listing.

We accept returns and offer a full refund or replacement only in the following circumstance:

  • You received the wrong item — a different title or edition to what you ordered

We do not offer refunds or returns for:

  • Change of mind
  • The condition of a pre-loved DVD where the condition was accurately described at the time of purchase
  • Duplicate purchases
  • Delivery delays caused by the courier

To request a return

Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at [info@thetimecapsule.co.za] with your order number and a photo of the item received. If your return is approved we will send through the amount paid, as well as for any postage or delivery fees, and you keep the product sent. For deposit payments we will require that you send us through your banking details for the refund. 

Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days back to your original payment method or our receiving of banking details if payment made via deposit. 

In-Person Purchases at Events

All in-person purchases of DVDs and tuck shop items at events are final. We do not offer refunds on items purchased at events under any circumstances.
